Recently Google announced the achievement of a major milestone in the field of quantum computing: "quantum computational supremacy", where for the first time ever a quantum computer challenges the computational power of the world's best classical supercomputers. We're thrilled that our field has reached this milestone. This is a big step, and quantum computing will get better still, as hardware continues to improve. The next big challenge is to make quantum computers truly useful for practical applications: the goal we at PhaseCraft are dedicated to achieving.
